Formulas
For airlinesOpen Settings → System Settings → Formulas. Formulas turn raw bid components (base price, differentials, fees) into the comparison values you actually see on the bid analysis page — total landed cost, normalized cost per gallon, etc.
Working with formulas
-
Each formula has a name, an output column, and an
expression that combines fields like
base_price,into_plane_fee, taxes, and currency conversion. - Add new formulas to slice the data your way — e.g. a scenario assuming a different exchange rate, or a tax-only column.
- Formulas appear as columns on the bid analysis dashboard and as fields you can include in Excel exports via export templates.
When to ask for help
Formula syntax can get involved (currency conversions, index averaging, conditional logic). If the formula you need doesn't fit a quick edit, contact your account manager — they can help build and validate it before you use it on a live tender.
