Launch the next round

For airlines

A follow-up round lets suppliers revise their offers. Common when the first round lands above target, when you want to narrow the shortlist, or when you need a clear winner between close bids.

Launch the round

  1. Open the tender and go to the Locations tab.
  2. In the top-right toolbar, click Launch Next Round.
  3. Pick the round closing date. The round ends at 00:00 UTC on the selected date.
  4. Click Launch.

The new round opens across every location in the tender. Suppliers get an email and an in-app notification.

Only Managers see the button. The minimum closing date is the day after the current round ends.

Before you launch

Optional steps that shape the next round:

  • Decline an offer on a location's supplier dashboard to drop that supplier out of contention there. They receive an email confirming the decision.
  • Leave bid feedback per offer (Award screen or supplier dashboard). Feedback is visible only to that supplier and helps them target their next bid without revealing competitors.
  • Extend Round instead of launching, when the current round just needs more time. Same toolbar, sets a new end date for the active round.

What suppliers see

Eligible suppliers see the new round on their tender with status Awaiting bid and a Place Bid button. Any feedback you left appears alongside their previous offer.

Awarding

When a round looks final, go to the Awards tab instead of launching another. Awards run in two stages — Tentatively Awarded, then Awarded once the supplier confirms — with branded notification emails, e-signature capture, and IATA FTS XML export for ERP integration.
