User management

For everyone

Open Settings → Manage Users (managers only). Invite teammates, set their role, and revoke access when they leave.

Invite a teammate

  1. Click Add User.
  2. Enter their first name, last name, work email, position, and phone.
  3. Pick a role (see below).
  4. Click Save.

They get an email with a link to set their password. The account activates as soon as they finish that step.

The three roles

Each role builds on the previous one — every Manager can do everything a User can, and every User can do everything a Viewer can.

Role Summary
Viewer Read-only across the platform. Sees tenders, bids, awards, notes, and chat. Can export. Cannot send messages, edit, or bid.
User Day-to-day tender work: place and revise bids, send chat and feedback, write internal notes, manage suppliers, award/un-award, extend rounds, edit tender details.
Manager Organization-level controls: cancel/delete tenders, launch new tenders and next rounds, edit analytics settings, manage users and managed airlines, edit the company profile.

Detailed permission matrix

Rules are enforced both in the UI (buttons hide) and on the server (requests reject) — they cannot be bypassed.

What Viewers see

Action buttons (Edit, Award, Add supplier, Mock bid, etc.) are hidden, not disabled. Forms with org-level settings show a read-only banner. Chat panels stay open so Viewers can follow along, but the message composer is replaced with a short note explaining the role.

Per-tender access

Roles apply across every tender by default. You can also limit who on your team sees a specific tender — when creating or accepting a tender invitation, choose which users get access. Removing a user from a tender's access list overrides their role: they won't see the tender at all, even as a Viewer.

Removing users

On Manage Users, click Revoke Access. Their history is preserved for compliance; they lose platform access immediately. To bring someone back, switch the filter to Revoked Users and edit them to an active role.

Child airlines

If you manage tenders on behalf of other airlines, see Managed airlines for the per-airline Interactive / Read-only toggle that overlays these roles.
